Aaron Conti was bitten on his heel on Monday by a shark at Playalinda beach. Conti was surfing when the incident occurred. He managed to call emergency services on his cell phone and they arrived soon after. Conti was able to drive himself to the hospital. The attack has not affected Conti’s love for the ocean, and will not keep him out of the water.
“I like nature. It’s God’s creation. You see stuff,” Conti said.
