Rob Stewart, acclaimed “Sharkwater” filmmaker and shark activist, sadly, died during a dive last week. It’s not known excactly what caused his death, but it may have had something to do with a new re-breather that he was using. The dive was his deepest yet. After a long search, just hours after the Coast guard officially suspended the search, Stewart’s body was found on the sea floor near the dive sight.
Rob Stewart’s passion for protecting sharks is clearly evident in his work and in his life. He will be appreciated for a long time. God speed Rob.
